Graham: If You Back Putin Now, You’re ‘Dumber than Dirt’

“If you jump on the Putin train now, you’re dumber than dirt. It would be like buying a ticket on the Titanic after you saw the movie. Don’t do this. The most catastrophic thing that could happen to the U.S.-China relationship, in my opinion, is for China to start to give lethal weapons to Putin in his crime against humanity.”

— Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), quoted by Politico.

Two-Thirds of Americans in Favor of Continuing Support for Ukraine

64%

Just over half of American voters think Ukraine is winning the war against Russia and nearly two-thirds want to keep helping them in their fight, according to a new Fox News survey. Sixty-four percent favor the U.S. continuing to provide weapons to Ukraine and 63% support ongoing financial aid. Those numbers are up a touch compared to six months ago, when approval was 61% for weapons and 59% for money.

Cheney: McCarthy Is Leader of the ‘Pro-Putin’ Wing of GOP

“The idea that the party is now no longer going to support the Ukrainian people. For somebody who has the picture of Ronald Reagan on his wall in his office in the Capitol, the notion that now Kevin McCarthy is going to make himself the leader of the pro-Putin wing of my party is just a stunning thing. … It’s dangerous. He knows better. But the fact that he’s willing to go down the path of suggesting that America will no longer stand for freedom, I think tells you he’s willing to sacrifice everything for his own political gain.”

— Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) branded Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) leader of the “pro-Putin” wing of the GOP after he suggested cutting U.S. funding of Ukraine’s war effort, Politico reports.
