Maher to Dems: Don’t Fall for GOP’s ‘Joe Biden, Sex Monster’ Ploy

On his “Real Time” show on HBO last night, Bill Maher urged Democrats not to fall into Republicans’ trap and obsess over an accusation of sexual assault against Biden from a former staffer. Their ploy is especially insidious because Republicans have ignored the fact that Trump has been accused of 26 incidents of “unwanted sexual contact” and 43 instances of inappropriate behavior.

A new CBS News poll finds Elizabeth Warren is well atop Democratic voters’ list of those who should be considered for vice president — with 71% saying she should be. Warren also outpaces other possible picks by a wide margin as their first choice for the job: Warren at 36% first choice, to Kamala Harris’ 19%, Stacey Abrams at 14%, and Amy Klobuchar at 13%. No one else gets over 4%.
