Mexicans Drink Most Coca-Cola Products

Number of eight-ounce servings of beverages made by the Coca-Cola Company consumed per person in 2011 in Mexico, according to the Wall Street Journal. The U.S. was second at 403, followed by Spain (287) and Germany (190). Coke beverages are unavailable in only two countries: North Korea and Cuba.

Large Majority of Dems Support Marriage Equality

Of Democrats support gay marriage, according to a new Pew Research survey — more than double the percentage that is opposed (29%). In 2008, only 50% of Democrats favored allowing gays and lesbians to marry legally, while 42% were opposed.
Can a Policy-Free Campaign Succeed?

Bush’s New Economics Book Boggles the Mind
You gotta hand it to Bush. Either he was born without the moral compass that engenders humility or he has one sick sense of humor. To start with, let the record show that George W. Bush was in fact president of the United States for eight years. And for those eight years economic growth averaged not four percent, but 2.04 percent. For Bush to attach his name to a book claiming to be a recipe for economic growth is what we Texans call chutzpah. What’s next? Charlie Sheen as spokesperson for Just Say No? Chris Christie’s fitness video? Kim Kardashian’s tips for a long and happy marriage? The mind boggles.

Most Americans Don’t Know Number of Justices on Supreme Court

Of Americans know that there are nine justices on the U.S. Supreme Court according to a new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll finds. Among college graduates, 52% answered correctly while 40% got it wrong and 8% say they don’t know. Of those without a college degree, 35% got it right, while 52% answered incorrectly and 13% said they don’t know.

Obama (even though Obama’s father was a British citizen and Romney’s father was born in Mexico) to Romney’s lecturing the London Olympics on security while expressing doubts about the enthusiasm of the British people for the games — to this latest incident involving Romney press secretary Rick Gorka that occurred in Poland yesterday:
