Actually, the “full Ginsburg” had, and has, nothing to do with Justice Ginsburg. The phrase originated with William Ginsburg, Monica Lewinsky’s attorney, who on February 1, 1998 — during the height of the Clinton impeachment crisis — appeared on all five major Sunday morning news shows.
