Wingnut Puts a Bounty on Michael Schiavo

CNN reports that a western “North Carolina man was arrested Friday by FBI agents on charges of soliciting the murder of a judge and the husband of Terri Schiavo, the severely brain-damaged woman at the center of a legal and moral tug of war.” Richard Alan Meywes of Fairview, North Carolina, offered a $250,000 bounty for the killing of Michael Schiavo and a $50,000 for executing Circuit Court Judge George Greer, who ordered Schiavo’s feeding tube removed a week ago.

Notice that the librul media never refers to nutcases like this as “violent religious extremists” or similar. I guess you have to be Muslim to wear that label.

(Fairview is just a few miles from the old homeplace. Hope we’re not related to this guy!)

  1. In case you missed it, (and I have a strong suspicion this will be a VERY underreported story, the Miami Herald reports (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/11233240.htm) that the state agencies Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Department of Families and Children attempted to exploit an legal loophole to seize Terry Schiavo out of her Hospice and back to the hospital where her feeding tube was reinserted last time the Jebster involved himself in this. Unfortunately for the bad guys, the local cops caught wind and alerted the judge, who closed the loophole and ordered every sheriff in the state to prevent Schiavo’s seizure. The FDLE and the DFC, fearing a potential “showdown” with the local police, backed down.

Remember folks, there’s no such thing as “Enlightened Times!”
